Speakers from Bath Spa University, Northumbria University and Liverpool John Moores University include artist teachers Mike Jarvis, Naomi Hart, Angela Cockayne and Moira Turner. Book of the Month - July 2010

The Art Club - a journey with experiment and enthusiasm

The author, Anna Marie Holm,is a Danish member of the Society and this English translation was made specifically for NSEAD members. It is one of our best selling books.

Anna Marie writes:'My driving force is joy and enthusiasm for the children's pictures and the way in which they are creative. This book is meant to be something you can dip into. It does not matter where you start. ...It is not a rigidly structured work but something from which one can invent and put ideas together in any amount of ways. I hope that unexpected results will develop. The book builds on my diaries, written after days at an Art Club for children in Denmark. Visions, calmness, seriousness, noise, chaos and love are all present in the book.'

Paperback 168pp with many colour illustrations.
